Resolving A Parking Page after Set to Adsense for Domain

by admin on November 24, 2010

Two days a go, I change my domain to adsense for Google. And then, I want to back my domain to my name server. I’ve deleted All Records and everything is empty. The problem is the site still point to parking page owned by Name.com. Below the instruction to resolve parking page after set to adsense for domain.

To delete the parking page, you can either (1) delete the name servers associated with your domain name, so that the page will not resolve, or (2) forward it to a blank page.

(1) To delete the name servers, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your account.
2. At your account home page, click on the domain name.
3. On the “Manage domain name” screen, click “Edit Name Servers.”
4. “Remove” the current name servers.

In roughly 24 hours, your parking page will stop resolving.

(2) To set-up URL forwarding, so that your domain forwards to a blank page, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your account.
2. At your account home page, click on your domain name.
3. On the “Manage domain name” screen, click “URL Forwarding.”
4. Next, read the explanatory matter, and press “Enable URL forwarding for YOURDOMAINNAME.COM.”
5. After the “Point to,” enter the full web address to which you wish to direct your domain name.

(Please note: you cannot point a third level domain name, http://www.abc.abcd.com for instance.)

6. Choose, using the drop-down menu, whether to employ “masked” or “redirect” forwarding. Masked forwarding will not indicate, in the frame of a web browser, that a user has moved from your domain to third party website. Redirect will.
7. Optional: Enter a “Page Title,” which will appear in the browser frame, and “Mega Tags.”
8. Press “Update.”

Your URL forwarding setting has now been established.
